After two very succesfull editions of The Five Great Guitars, with Harry Sacksioni, Eric Vaarzon Morel, Zou Diarra and Digmon Roovers, guitarist Jan Kuiper presents his latest project for the season 2005-2006.
With The Five Great Guitars, five guitarplayers joined their forces. At this first edition of World Of Strings, Jan Kuiper shows you some wonderfull and virtuoso string-players from the great worldmusic-continents India and Africa. These musicians, in their own country, are among the greatest artists of this moment.
The mucisians play together in different combinations and styles. They play in the first set i.a. solo, duo and trio. In the second set, the seven mucisians play all together in full line up.
